Ticked Off and Tickled Pink July 11, 2019

Ticked Off

At the woman who chastised me for having my dog off-leash in an off-leash park. Mind your own business.

Ticked Pink

If we could get concerts in this city by musicians relevant to the current decade. It’s the same thing over and over. All we get are cover bands and groups from the 1980s and ’90s.

Ticked Off

The price of gas hasn’t changed much since Kenney dropped the carbon tax. Gas in Calgary is less than $1, the average across Canada is $1.18.9 and we are still at $1.17.8.

Ticked Off

Fuel prices lead to Medicine Hat residents getting ripped off by up to 20 cents a litre. I just travelled 2,500 kilometres around province and have all receipts to prove it.

Ticked Off

After travelling to other cities this year and seeing the lawns, meticulous flowers and parks, I wonder what happened to Medicine Hat. There are tall weeds growing everywhere, the flowers gardens have been few and far between.

Tickled Pink

WestJet flying into Medicine Hat has been nothing but a joy, it has taken a long time to get them here and I am looking forward to taking more flights.

Tickled Pink

With this year’s JazzFest. It was great. I just wish they could do something about the sound quality in the studio theatre. The drums over power everything.

Ticked Off

New industries bring better wages and better options than working for barely more than minimum wage

Tickled Pink

I’ll be so happy to see the MHPS armoured vehicle in the parade this year. I hope they wash the dust off it first.

Ticked Off

So it’s against the law to ask a person’s age during the hiring process, but Kenney figures it’s OK to base their pay on that number? Sounds like a crook.

Tickled Pink

Great new land fitness classes started this summer at the FLC, plus it is so reasonably priced for group fitness.

Tickled Pink

Would be tickled pink to know how much the bikers are paying to lease all that land in Redcliff, and how much revenue these famous trails are bringing in to various businesses in town.

Tickled Pink

If the city would consider silent fireworks like Banff has, to show care and concern for all those with PTSD, for the refugees from war torn countries, and for the animals’ and pets’ safety.

Ticked Off

That Canada Post has not bothered coming to my door with several of my deliveries. My security camera proves they never attempted delivery. Instead, I have to pick it up at the postal outlet. What a bunch of slackers.

Tickled Pink

With the oversized parking stalls at the warehouse store.

Ticked Off

On May 22 Jason Nixon said, “Consumer rebates from provincial carbon taxes already collected will be paid to qualifying Albertans.” Well, I did not get mine.

Ticked Off

At the parks department for watering some parks every day or two when every four or five is plenty. Check with a horticulturist. They are overwatering at taxpayers’ expense.

Ticked Off

That our MLA still hasn’t taken his 5% pay cut, nor the premier his 10% cut. Meanwhile groups have had their bargaining rights taken away and corporations have received windfall tax cuts.
