Ticked Off and Tickled Pink July 9, 2019

By Ticked Off - Tickled Pink on July 9, 2019.

Ticked Off

By the philosophy of a pro-choicer, should not all narcotics be legal? My body, my choice.

Tickled Pink

With a young lady who waited on me at a local Pharmasave. She voluntarily took the time to check for a coupon for the expensive birthday card I was purchasing and saved me $6!

Ticked Off

If Trudeau is so concerned about whales why pass a “no tanker” bill on the west coast where no tankers are now? Why isn’t he worried about all the Right Whales that are actually being affected by shipping on the east coast. Oh, I forgot, Quebec.

Ticked Off

With the idea of fighting the carbon tax federally/provincially. Stop wasting taxpayers’ money on flexing a big mouth.

Ticked Off

At the electrical company who keeps blocking the parking lot exit at the old Boston Pizza. You do not own that lane, go park and stop being lazy.

Tickled Pink

That Vancouver environmentalists never tried to ban that ship full of garbage that smelled worse than crude oil

Ticked Off

The TV show “Drag Race” is coming to Canada. Drag is not a compliment to women; it is insulting and offensive.

Tickled Pink

If a plastic recycling industry set up in Medicine Hat.

Tickled Pink

So happy I can shop for groceries and refuse to buy products from China.

Tickled Pink

With my small-town advantage where my child will receive full-time kindergarten with a full-time certified teacher all day for just $100/month! I am tickled pink to be part of a district that values quality education.

Ticked Off

Sorry to say how disappointing the fireworks were here on July 1. For a city of this size they could have at the least lasted for 15 minutes. People came out in droves to watch them!

Ticked Off

The people who want to get rid of fossil fuels shoudd quit driving and start walking.

Ticked Off

Employment standards need to be updated. If your’renot in a union you’re screwed.

Ticked Off

American foreign policy is a complete joke. They’ve been causing problems with China and Russia for years. Woke up Iran by backing out of a globally agreed upon nuclear deal. Backed out of the Paris Climate Agreement. Caused chaos throughout the world by funding certain groups with weapons and money that still has wet ink.

Ticked Off

Lazy people use special collars. Decent human beings train their dogs and avoid being a burden on everyone around them.

Tickled Pink

If the Spectrum Festival could be moved back downtown. It was such a great location and great for the businesses downtown.

Ticked Off

The city has a “report a problem” link on its website. What’s the point in reporting a problem when they don’t do anything about it? Over and over again, things have been reported and going on three years now, nothing has been done about it.

Ticked Off

So the parks aren’t being mowed as often; not a good solution for summer. What about something that would impact cost savings all year? What rabout eduction of garbage pickup to biweekly?

Ticked Off

Some couldn’t tell the truth if their lives depended on it. May you get what you gave.

Ticked Off

I had high hopes for our governor general when she was installed, but she has disappointed several times over. On Canada Day her dress was not appropriate for a public ceremony. She should look to our monarch or the Duchess of Cambridge for some guidance on dignity.

Ticked Off

There was a time when people knew how to enjoy themselves, without getting drunk and high on legal and illegal drugs.

Ticked Off

Unions are the last thing we need at the wind farms. These wind farms are already costing us a great deal. Keep the unions out of this. They will just add to the inefficiencies.

Ticked Off

First they blocked coal use. Then they blocked heavy oil and pipelines. Now they are blocking LNG pipelines which could be the best way to slow global warming by increasing natural gas use throughout the world. These eco-alarmists with no brains need to shut up or be locked up.

Ticked Off

While the Canada Day celebrations were great, it seems that every year where we spend thousands of dollars on fireworks we forget to buy a $10 watch to make sure the person hitting the start button does so on time. They were supposed to start at 11:15 p.m. but started at 10:50 p.m. Next year can we try to stick to the schedule?
