When people come into my cafe and discuss business for two hours and only order a glass of water, that’s pretty cheap.

With the students from the school across the street from us who shovelled the sidewalks and driveways in our court.

If you think owning a small business is a licence to get rich, you should try owning one. Income below the poverty line and stress, stress, stress.

With the person complaining about seniors having coffee at fast food restaurants. If the Veiner centre was built on Primrose Drive, close to all the seniors’ complexes, that’s where they would go. It would be much handier.

That the Canadian dollar is so low compared to the U.S. dollar, the Euro, the pound and the Yen. These are our main trading partners. That’s why everything costs more.

My heartfelt thanks to the people clearing my sidewalk of snow right up to my front door in Southridge. I’m a widow and pensioner with COPD and unable to do it myself. Goes to show you there are very kind and caring people in this world.

I wish the city and provincial leaders would eliminate the traffic lights on the highway in Medicine Hat or build a bypass route.

Fire inspections are made to ensure structure safety so how come there have been ceiling collapse when the structures have been inspected and passed? Educate us if we are wrong please.

That the Esplanade has cancelled the free Thursdays.

    I wish the city and provincial leaders would eliminate the traffic lights on the highway in Medicine Hat or build a bypass route.

    They’ve tried to on several occasions but every time it’s brought up the local businesses fight it tooth and nail, figuring it’ll cost them customers and easy access.
