That “disability or level of disability” is not included in The Alberta Bill of Rights.
Trudeau and Trump are the problem.
I was happy I could shop downtown and get some great deals on Boxing Day. It is nice to not get the same old, same old like the big box stores have.
That a rude person suggested ‘mob mentality’ for people who were fighting for green space in an already dense community. Then this person added “Glad to see that NIMBY geriatrics didn’t get their own way.”
Why is this city council so fiscally irresponsible, spending money on wasteful projects? But why not? It’s like gambling with someone else’s money. Win-win. Spend foolishly, but then raise taxes and utilities. No problem.
If someone would help Trudeau get the job at the UN that he is destroying Canada to get and get him the heck out of Canada.
A big thank you to the person who paid for my daughter and my supper on the day my husband had major surgery.
I don’t think city council needs a raise. In fact, we could get by with only four councillors.
If council wants to give themselves a raise, they should work 8:30 to 4:30 like other city employees. Many of the councillors have full-time jobs outside of council. They don’t work enough hours to deserve this high salary.
With many Christmas shoppers being so unreasonable to staff members. Where is their Christmas spirit?
I’m pleased that our federal government and Inuit have moved to create protected areas in the Arctic. This government does do something right.
There should be standard speed limits/hours all across the province for school and playground zones.
I think there is a cure for cancer out there but the pharmaceutical companies refuse to release it because so many jobs would be lost.
My daughter-in-law is not guiding my grandchildren in healthy food choices. I believe the mother is the greatest influence.
There is a big difference between unnecessary and unsafe lane changing. The first one is not for someone else to determine if and when it may occur.
With the protesters being peaceful. But why are you not in B.C. and Quebec? These are the ones that stopped it. Conservatives had 5-10 years to get it done.
If you want a preview of what will happen in Alberta if the UCP gets elected this year just look at what’s happening in Ontario. Hack and slash politics.
At the person who thinks the homeless should not be in the library. I’ve been there many times and I have never seen all those chairs occupied. Quit whining and be thankful you have a warm house to go to.
The NDP government in Alberta has been another CCF-NDP disaster, the same track record across the country. The only hopeful strategy now for re-election is to portray Rachel Notley as an effective leader. That’s very similar to snake-oil selling.
Closed door meeting to decide the fate of the golf course, so we shouldn’t know that we’re paying its debts. Any income from it should go back to where the bailout money came from.
My kindhearted neighbours feed birds. I enjoy watching them but ticked off their other neighbour scares them away. How about giving them a chance? They’re just trying to survive.
Great people talk about ideas. Average people talk about things. Small people talk about other people.
That the protesters are starting to make Alberta resources workers look like idiots. Read the facts before criticizing any governments.
Why is the answer always cutting bureaucrat jobs? Those are still real jobs held by real people, who will be without real work after a cut. Why is it OK for bureaucrats to be without work, but not oil workers?
We are the only country in the world that can not get its resources to tide water. This is the fault of the governments in power. They sit on their hands and let special interest groups control our country.
