Ticked Off and Tickled Pink June 12

Tickled Pink

When we receive much needed rain, let’s remember to thank the Creator for it.

Ticked Off

If households have to recycle with these blue bins, what about the paper products from the bingo hall?

Ticked Off

Why does the food bank need to collect diapers? Why don’t people just use cloth ones and wash them?

Ticked Off

The city forces everyone to have smart meters for their electricity, water, etc. I live right beside a park and it’s been raining all day and the sprinklers have been on all day.

Ticked Off

The same holes in the roads for two years now. Do the mayor or city council members ever travel the streets of the city?

Tickled Pink

With my blue bin. I love it.

Tickled Pink

That someone agrees that if downtown wants revitalization, businesses need to change their hours to stay open later during special event evenings.

Ticked Off

When I was going for a walk with my youngster near the Ross Glen water park, it was sad to see so many unkempt yards. So much for a clean and green, beautiful city.

Tickled Pink

Thanks to the person who wrote that no one has the right to tell me how to raise my kids. I’ve been a single mom for 12 years. I’m doing the best I can.

Ticked Off

At those so-called NHL players. If they were out on the street, most of them would be charged with assault.

Ticked Off

There are three sides to every story: My side, your side and the truth.

Ticked Off

With Jason Kenney judging our prime minister, who graduated from Canada’s top university, McGill, and from UBC, and holds two degrees plus holds years of study in the engineering field. Kenney is a dropout from an American college. Maybe that explains his appeal to the poorly-educated and backward Ralph Klein-era supporters.

Tickled Pink

We have a wonderful police force. They’re kind and quick to serve. They take good care of us in Medicine Hat. I think we have the best police force in Canada.

Tickled Pink

When the Finlay Bridge opens up again. Ridiculous to wait 15 or 20 minutes to come down from Crescent Heights to cross Maple Avenue bridge. Maybe we need another bridge into downtown.

Ticked Off

By the opposition with its ideology bringing us back to the 1950s.

Ticked Off

With the city who dig holes in streets then leave them for 2-3 months until people complain then fill in the holes with loose gravel, and again leave them to become deep holes again.

Ticked Off

I don’t appreciate some religion nut coming up to me as I’m waiting for a bus to bring the word of God to me or shopping in the mall and someone telling me I need prayers.

Tickled Pink

That the courts are seeking “guidance in finding alternatives to incarceration to reduce the overrepresentation of aboriginal people in prison.” Hopefully this will help the young aboriginal man who was convicted of kidnapping, raping and robbing a local woman.
