Ticked Off and Tickled Pink March 13

By Ticked Off - Tickled Pink on March 13, 2018.

Ticked Off

The NHL is a total joke. The players and league administrators contracts are beyond belief, you fans are suckers to buy tickets at $200-300 a seat and their cheap merchandise

Ticked Off

That the Conservatives will recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. This is a morally wrong decision because it ignores input from Palestinians. It’s un-Canadian not to listen to all stakeholders.

Ticked Off

With the carbon tax. Carbon is not our problem, plastics are our problem. Go back to glass.

Tickled Pink

By the firefighters Rooftop Campout and the money they raised. That is walking the walk. Good job.

Ticked Off

Tired of reading a certain MLAs tweets, one more reason not to vote for him ever.

Tickled Pink

I’m very happy about the curbside recycling. Taxes will be a few dollars higher but it will save me time and gas. Recycling is for the common good.

Tickled Pink

To have such a great doctor that diagnosed my knee right away and told me I needed to have emergency surgery.

Tickled Pink

By the Medicine Hat Tigers. I’ve followed them every year since I moved here in 1985. Kudos to them on their season.

Tickled Pink

I was delighted to read on March 2 that only Jesus Christ can save the world.

Ticked Off

At charities which continually send letters asking for donations. I received 112 letters, plus emails.

Ticked Off

That someone thinks it’s my problem that servers have to tip kitchen staff. It’s not my concern to help pay servers now that minimum wages has gone up and I have been given price increases to my meal.

Ticked Off

That a permit was given for a daycare on Sixth Street with parking on a busy, narrow road. Now there’s a steady stream of distracted parents who fling their car doors open into traffic.

Tickled Pink

Hooray for the very lovely sunsets we’ve been having this spring. Keep it up, Mother Nature.

Ticked Off

Please, enough with the climate change farce.

Ticked Off

Why bother having playground zones when they’re never enforced?

Ticked Off

Rainbow crosswalks, another insane proposition. Move to Taber and see which colour their sidewalks are.

Ticked Off

Greenhouses should start growing marijuana instead of tomatoes and start making money.

Tickled Pink

To all the people that got tickets at a local medical clinic for parking in handicap parking spots I say a very loud, “good.” If you can’t walk a few extra feet, how do you expect someone with a handicap or disability to?

Ticked Off

Farmers having trouble getting grain to market because of lack of rail cars or space for grain cars. With no pipelines being built there will be an increase of two- or three-times the amount of oil that will be shipped by rail in the next three years.

Ticked Off

The UCP leader somehow believes cutting pipeline shipments is a positive protest against a B.C. government that does not want an increase in pipeline capacity.

Ticked Off

That so many bus stops are inaccessible or unsafe, either because of ice build up or by people parked in the bus stop. I would be tickled pink if transit took these problems seriously and reported them to management.

Tickled Pink

In spite of no curbside recycling in Redcliff I have the alternative of taking my recyclables to the bins in Medicine Hat, so nice that we can still all do our part if we wish to.

Ticked Off

So much nasty negative propaganda about Notley and Trudeau in this paper. What are you going to say about Kenney.

Ticked Off

At the minor hockey game I attended the coach who was swearing and yelling. What kind of role model are you to our youth?

Tickled Pink

If people could pick up pet waste before thaw. After a winter I look forward to some fresh air.

Ticked Off

I went to the stationary store, but it had moved.

Ticked Off

If I hear “crisis” when describing drug users and opioids one more time I will scream! Why are my tax dollars being spent on helping drug users so they can safely get their next fix?
