Ticked Off and Tickled Pink Jan. 9

By Ticked Off - Tickled Pink on January 9, 2018.

Ticked Off

With the Alberta conservatives who criticize the NDP for giving cancer patients a new hospital and our children new schools. Rachel Notley is a dedicated public servant, not power obsessed like Jason Kenney, who is a clone of Ralph Klein using Trump-style under the guise of making Alberta great again.

Ticked Off

Because the big petroleum companies are not charged with extortion for raising the price of fuel before every long weekend.

Ticked Off

With the Ticked Off comment about Donald Trump’s Christian values. He’s totally upholding the 10 Commandments.

Ticked Off

I wish Trudeau would stay off TV and quit saying he can rehabilitate ISIS fighters with art and music. He’s beginning to make himself a laughing stock of the world with his stupid comments.

Tickled Pink

I was very worried about the city not printing the garbage pickup and recycling information calendar for 2018. Today I opened my utility bill and see they have a 2018 one-page calendar with the colour coding for garbage pickup. This is great! It will be very handy on my refrigerator.

Tickled Pink

To the person who complained about hand held snow blowers at 8 a.m. I see the noise bylaw actually ends at 7 a.m. except for weekends and holidays which is 9 a.m. Nice to see I can start an hour earlier on some days.

Ticked Off

Enough already of last year’s news, I realize you are struggling but there is a lot going on outside of Medicine Hat.

Tickled Pink

To see all local service clubs and families help with the bell ringing!

Ticked Off

At the News for allowing the same free ads months on end. If it doesn’t sell give it away.

Tickled Pink

Pretty tough to shop local when a person works 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and a large number of local retailers close at 5 p.m.

Ticked Off

I’m retired but I really feel for future generations trying to dig their way out of the massive hole our political geniuses are digging for them.

Tickled Pink

That even though I consider myself to be an atheist, I am able to forgive the hypocritical judgments and hatred displayed by a professed Christian in his recent column. It seems to me that condemnation of others based on accusations is similar to the circumstances that resulted in Easter.

Ticked Off

By all the negativity about current party in office. Alberta didn’t get this way overnight, it has taken years and years.

Tickled Pink

That the Family Leisure Centre has both land and water fitness classes.

Ticked Off

Utilities increase to implement recycling program. There has to be a way to do both, maybe reducing the general garbage pickup to biweekly and recycling biweekly.

Ticked Off

With the people of Alberta who really, really believe boy wonder when he says he will get rid of the carbon tax if voted in. Would you rather pay health care premiums? It’s more than the carbon tax now. HST/PST will rise. Think voters. Think long and hard.

Ticked Off

With people wanting to get rid of photo radar. Do you want demerits taking away and a fine? Now it’s just a fine. It’s also giving cops more time to get the other criminals.

Ticked Off

At the absolute idiot who decided to pop off fireworks in N.E. Crescent Heights on New Year’s Eve!

Tickled Pink

With all the cards, gifts, etc. that we received from some of the people we deliver the News to. It is nice to know that some of you appreciate our service. Thank you. Happy New Year.

Ticked Off

With plastic bag ban talk. Why should I buy plastic bags from retailers when I can recycle them for my garbages/pet messes?

Ticked Off

At the roofing contractor who needs to learn customer service! He wanted our business when our roof needed to be totally redone, now he doesn’t return our phone calls when we have a problem!

Tickled Pink

Public library membership is a mere $5 a year to be able to read as many books as possible.

Ticked Off

That city didn’t look at alternatives for recycling program; instead it chose to increase costs.

Ticked Off

Sad to see so many stores open on holidays. Don’t their employees deserve time off?
