Why doesn’t the city sell the buses and buy some smaller vans?
That the transit system will go back to the old system. My livelihood depends on it.
We can’t afford to run these buses around empty or with a couple of people in them. People should take a cab or walk.
Remember the mayor’s quote in the New York Times news article in February 2017: “We could separate from the world, and we’d be totally self-sufficient. We’d be a very, very wealthy little country.” Does he live in LaLa Land?
Fact: Mayor has not eliminated homelessness. Fact: Medicine Hat was the only Alberta city whose population did not increase dramatically over the past 15 years.
If the city street workers would quit breastfeeding their shovels and filled the potholes before winter.
That the city paid someone from Calgary to come to Medicine Hat to redesign our transit system.
I sure hope Donald Trump realizes you can’t claim self defence when you throw the first punch.
After the transit vote, we know the three people to vote for.
Why haven’t we heard lately about the $50 million oilfield purchase in Manyberries?
Neighbours’ cats are using our grass as litter boxes and skunks have moved into the alleys. Where are the bylaw officers?
Tower Estates has more than 300 homes, people who get around in wheelchairs and people who have no vehicles. And they have no bus service on the weekends. Really?
That someone thinks the roads are only for cars and pedestrians to cross. Bicycles are entitled to take the whole lane.
Working for a non-profit can be rewarding. That being said when staff are walking away to positions for less money or no job at all it’s got to be really bad.
Totally absurd that 4 per cent of Medicine Hat residents (transit ridership users) scared the council into changing back to the money losing scheme after only two weeks! Talk about the tail wagging the dog!
Shame on the UCP for not scheduling a leadership debate in Medicine Hat. The Wildrose never valued this area in light of their current local spokespeople. But the PC Party once had some reputable, high-ranking people from this area. Very disappointing.
That roller derby is back in season! Next game Oct. 7.
