Letter: Put aside tribalism, embrace peace

Dear editor,

By the Grace of God go I. This past Sunday was Baptism of the Lord Sunday, when we think of when John the Baptist baptized his cousin Jesus in the river with water. From that time to this we are given the gift of Holy Spirit instead.

It has a calming effect the grace of God and after being slightly manic I am now calm, thinking about baptism and other times when the Grace of God has come upon me.

I wish that more people could be at peace and this tribalism that I see around me would stop.
