‘Where are you from?’ elicits interesting information

Re: “Where are you from?,” Jan. 17 I have asked many people the same question, mainly because I am an avid traveller and very much interested in world events. The question has allowed me to meet and chat with many interesting people around the world. Personally, I have been asked many times where I am from or where my family is from. I enjoy answering the question, as personal histories are helpful in explaining many things. I have never had anyone not respond positively. Sometimes today, we all just overthink things.
