Calgary police investigate suspicious death after body found in industrial complex

Calgary police say they are investigating a suspicious death after a body was found in an industrial complex.

Officers were called to the area in the city’s southwest at about 3 p.m. Tuesday.

Police say it is being investigated as suspicious and the homicide unit is investigating.

CTV News is reporting that the body was found in a suitcase near a dumpster at the site, but police did not immediately confirm that detail.

Police say an autopsy is scheduled for today to determine how the person died.

They say family has not yet been notified and no further details are expected until that has been done.
