Police Point Park’s Nature Centre is housing this year’s Young Artists Inspired by Nature show.
The display is made up of art from local high school students from a few different schools around the city.
“We’re always happy to host this exhibit,” said park interpreter Justine Bolen. “This is Medicine Hat High School, Crescent Heights High School and Monsignor McCoy High School students and they have submitted artwork for us to put up in this display.
“There’s a small window for people to come down and look at this gallery so we hope they come and check it out.”
This year’s exhibit features a number of different mediums that the students used including painting, photography and sculpting.
“It’s beautiful art and it’s really awe-inspiring,” said Bolen. “It’s really inspiring to see what the students put together.
“They’re so talented.”
All the art is related to nature in one way or another.
There is no fee to get in and it is open when the Nature Centre is open.
The art is on display until Jan. 26 at the Nature Centre.
