U.S. border patrol arrests 2 Mexicans allegedly trying to enter Montana

U.S. border patrol agents in Havre, Mont., have arrested two Mexican citizens who they say illegally entered the country via Canada.

The agency made the announcement in a release on Monday, stating they believe the man and woman crossed the international border on foot sometime around October 27.

They were charged with violating immigration laws and turned over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement personnel.

No other information was made available.

Havre is located about 220 kilometres south of Medicine Hat.
