Medicine Hat College hosting talk on mental health, suicide awareness

Medicine Hat College is hosting a talk on mental health and suicide awareness from Josh Rivedal Oct. 9.
The free event – dubbed “The i’Mpossible Project” – will occur at the Eresman Theatre from 7:30-9 p.m.
According to his website, Rivedal began his career as an actor before embarking on the path of public speaking, with a special focus on suicide prevention, mental health, diversity and inclusion, and anti-bullying.
“As founder and executive director of The i’Mpossible Project, he provides advocacy, entertainment, seminars, and peer-to-peer education on suicide prevention, mental health, storytelling and diversity,” the website says.
