Tigers to play pre-season game in Irvine

The Medicine Hat Tigers will be taking their game to Irvine this September.

The Western Hockey League released its 2018 pre-season schedule Wednesday, and once again the Tigers will be playing their lone home contest of the campaign at a nearby rink when they host the Moose Jaw Warriors at the Irvine Sports Complex on Sept. 8 at 7:30 p.m.

The Tigers will open the pre-season with back-to-back games against the Lethbridge Hurricanes at the Enmax Centre on Aug. 31 and the Taber Community Centre Sept. 1. The Tigers will also face the Warriors in Moose Jaw Sept. 7 and the Red Deer Rebels at the Enmax Centrium Sept. 15.
