Saturday evening’s races at the Medicine Hat Speedway marked the end of yet another racing season.
“I think the year was really good, I’m pretty happy with how things went,” said Medicine Hat Speedway President Rick Jondreau. “All year I felt went pretty well, and that we had some good races.”
Saturday’s races consisted of multiple heats that crowned winners from each category. Jondreau says he is very happy with how the Speedway was able to finish off the year.
“The final race was probably our best one of the year,” he said. “Our final crowd wasn’t quite at capacity, but it was pretty close to 75 or 80 per cent. People in Medicine Hat, our fanbase, is always fantastic. I really can’t say enough good things about the fans we have here. As always we just want to say thanks to the fans for supporting us, and to Medicine Hat for being such a great place to race.”
