Local dragon boat squad repeats

The Medicine Hat Dragon Boat Association’s Sisterpower team took home its second consecutive survivor race trophy at the Regina Dragon Boat Festival last weekend.

Sisterpower—a team of breast cancer survivors and supporters of survivors — took part in three races, taking first in the overall B final and first in the survivor race with times of 3:03 and 3:06, while earning a place in the rose ceremony.
