So much for Monsignor McCoy’s unbeaten run in Arizona.

The Colts fell to 3-1 in their week-long trip to the U.S. Wednesday, losing 9-1 to the Scottsdale Reds.

Tyran George struck out six in four innings but the Reds scored six times during that span, while Colts hitters weren’t able to get much going in their frames.

Jack Suhai hit a triple and Theryn Berndt a double, but Berndt was the only one to score. McCoy finished its trip with a game Thursday, though no score was reported by press time. They’re back home next week to resume an all-exhibition schedule, while the local league also resumes.
