It was home sweet home Saturday for a Medicine Hat ringette team.
The Vortex won a pair of games on their ice in under-14 B league play, and did so convincingly. Against the Bowview Rush, they claimed a 6-3 win, then against the Airdrie Sting the same day they won 8-2.
Lexi Owen had two goals in each game. Bree Becker added one in each. Against Bowview, Hailey Hudson, megan Taylor and Jessica Heidel also scored. Olivia Sim had a hat trick against Airdrie, with Rowenna Schlaht and Kira Chell rounding out the scoring.
Now 4-0, the Vortex heads to Calgary to play in a tournament this weekend.
