1931 ~ DON HAUSAUER ~ 2018

Donald "Don" Keith Hausauer of Ralston, beloved husband of the late Pamela J. Hausauer, passed away on Monday, January 1st, 2018 at the age of 86 years. Don leaves to cherish his memory two sons, Keith (Shannon) Hausauer and Kenneth (Colleen) Hausauer; one daughter, Trudy (Tim) Hunt; one grandson, Ian Hunt; two great grandchildren, Layla Hunt and Amina Hunt; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Don was predeceased by his wife, Pamela; his parents, Edward and Martha Hausauer; two daughters, Donna Lee Hausauer and Karen Dee Cassidy; and one grandson, Bill Hausauer. Don was born on February 22nd, 1931 in Medicine Hat and had a very happy childhood growing up in the Badlands in and around Irvine. He joined the Airforce in 1949. His family would like to thank everyone at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital, especially 2N, for their care and kindness. They would also like to thank the Canadian Health Care System. 1937 ~ TERRANCE ARMSTRONG ~ 2017

Terrance “Terry” Saundry Armstrong, beloved husband of 58 years to Marilyn Armstrong, peacefully passed away at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Friday, December 29th, 2017 at the age of 79 years. He leaves to cherish his memories, daughters: Karen, Donna (Frank) Irving of Calgary, and grandchildren: Ian and Tina, and great grandson, Tyson; Judith (Winston) Shaw of Sherwood Park, and grandchildren: Samantha, Tanner and Taylor; Nancy (Shane) Dirk of Medicine Hat, grandchildren: Krystal and Theresa; son, Steven Armstrong of Medicine Hat, and grandchildren: Terrance and William Armstrong; his two brothers: Gary (Phyllis) Armstrong of B.C., and William Armstrong of ON; and many nieces and nephews. Terrance was predeceased by his parents, Annie and Wilbert; his in laws, Howard and Ella Mander; and one grandson, Jordan Shaw. Terrance was born on December 31st, 1937 in Peterborough, ON. He served in the Canadian Armed Forces Signals Corp (Communications and Electronics Branch) from 1958 to 1981, was stationed in: Petawawa, ON, the Congo, Germany, Penhold and Ralston, AB. Terrance worked at Canada Post for 16 years and retired in 1999. He loved: spending time with his grandchildren, animals, camping, fishing, movies and computers. Terrance was residing at South Country Nursing Home and the family wishes to thank the staff and his doctors for the care given to him. As per his request, there will be no formal funeral service. Alberta “Bertie” Verna Renner of Medicine Hat passed away with her children at her side, on Saturday, December 30, 2017, at the age of 88 years, beloved wife of the late Alvin Renner. She leaves to cherish her memory three children; Geraldine (Allan) Lannon of Dunmore, Terry (Lillian) Renner of Parkland County, Lucille (Garry) Lagasse of Medicine Hat, six grandchildren; Renee Lannon, Aaron (Christa) Lannon, Warren (Amy) Renner, Jason (Sarah) Renner, Delvin (Cori) Lagasse, Kendra (Steve) Perrior, twelve great grandchildren; Celyn, Tara, Kaitlyn, Colby, Aksel, Cambria, Ava, Grayson, Claire, Shelby, Sierra, Courtney (Josh); one brother, Al (Doris) Dorge of Lethbridge, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and her husband, Alvin Renner, two brothers, and four sisters. Family and friends who wish to pay their respects may do so at the Pattison Funeral Home on Thursday, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Friday, from 12:00 to 12:55 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the Victory Lutheran Church (2793 Southview Drive SE) on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. with Diaconal Minister Lila deWaal officiating.
