A Life Honoured…

It has been just over one week since family and friends filled Cook’s Chapel to honour the life of Al Miller. Along with Reverend Dueck, Al’s grandson, Pastor Lanny Meier shared words of inspiration from both the gospel and from the heart. Al’s son, Dwen and grandson, Ian spoke of a man who loved his church and his family. Following the service, laughter could be heard throughout the Reception Facility as more stories of Al were shared… all of them touching on a life well lived.
A journey in life,
And a family’s love,
Angels among us,
In the skies above!
His Life Lived…
His Life Cherished…
His Life Honoured.

Family first…

It was one week ago today that family and friends united in Cook’s Chapel to pay tribute to the life of Diane McDougall. Diane’s son, William shared words from the heart including stories of a mother’s love for her children, touching on her kind and caring nature! Deacon Olson led the congregation in prayer which included reciting the Rosary ~ just as Diane had requested. The music family selected to honour Diane’s life offered comfort and assurance to all in attendance.
Like the petals of a rose,
Full of life and zest,
Diane has gone home,
To enjoy eternal rest!
Her Life Lived…
Her Life Cherished…
Her Life Honoured.
