It is with heavy hearts that the family of Felix Lutz, beloved husband of Thelma Lutz, announce his passing at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Monday, February 1, 2016, at the age of 82 years. GETZ

Victor Getz, beloved husband of 35 years to Karen (McQueen) and father to Jennifer and Jessica passed away January 31 after a short illness. He is also survived by his mother Annie Getz and sisters Marianne Oerlemans (Darren and niece Darilyn) and Sharlene. Victor was predeceased by his father Tony Getz. Victor lived life to the fullest and was most at home on his farm outside of Brooks. He loved the rodeo and especially enjoyed watching his girls barrel racing. A real family man who was loved by Karen's family Gordon and Joyce (mom and dad) and sisters Pat (Jorge), Devora (Mick), Kay (Rory) and brother Ian (Janis). A great uncle to James, Michael, Ryan, Gord, Jill and Michelle and their families. Victor loved people and always had fun at gatherings whether it was with the rodeo crew, at sporting events, friends and neighbours, or at family functions. He leaves a big void and will be truly missed by all who knew him. A "Come and Go Social" will take place at the Silver Sage Community Corral on Silver Sage Road in Brooks, AB on Friday February 5th from 2-5pm. Rosina “Rose” Katherine Scott of Medicine Hat, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2016, at the age of 86 years, beloved wife of the late Alvin Scott. She leaves to cherish her memory three children, Philip (Yvonne), Patricia Shipley, Mary (Jerry); her grandchildren, Rose and Randy (Ben, Brooklin); Leigh and Alison (Emily, Olivia); Crystal; Jason and Tinna (Domanick, Chloe); Jordan and Beth (Savannah, Ryker); Kaylee and Kemar; Jennica and Clay as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Eva and Anton Schafer and her husband Alvin in 1996. STANLEY BRUCE LONG

1917 ~ 2016
Stanley Bruce Long passed away peacefully at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Wednesday, January 27, 2016, at the age of 98 years. Stan was a life long resident of Medicine Hat. His career with the CPR spanned 43 years. He was an active member of the Connaught Golf Course for 76 years. Golf was his passion and he freely shared his knowledge of golf with others wanting to learn the game. Stan was pre- deceased by his wife, Edna; twin brother, Sydney; brothers, Fred and Douglas as well as sisters, Mary and June. He is survived by sons, Fred and Ken and their families. It was Stan’s wish that his life be remembered without the proceedings of a formal service.
