.KAPPELER
Gordon Robert Kappeler of Medicine Hat, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2014, at the age of 69 years. He leaves to cherish his memory four children, Frank (Marlie), Carman (Danika), Sereena (Greg) and Brandon; eight grandchildren, Keziah, Zach (Riley), Amburgh, Adrian, Beckett, Olivia, Marrianne and Mia; his best friend MeMe Gosselin and one nephew Gordie Kappeler. He was predeceased by his parents, Christina and Frank Kappeler; one daughter Beverley in 1973 and two sisters, Muriel Kappeler and Carol Kappeler both in 2014. Gordon will be sadly missed by his children and grandchildren. The family wish to thank all the nurses on 4W, especially Tammy and Deb. The funeral service will be held in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Friday, December 19, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Mark Borrows officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillside Cemetery. Harvey John Mock passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2014, at the age of 78 years, beloved husband of Gloria Mock of Medicine Hat. He also leaves to cherish his memory three children, Terry (Shannon) Mock of Medicine Hat, Marcele (Bob) Hall of Red Deer and Bruce (Rose) Mock of Medicine Hat; five grandchildren, Steven Hall, Bobbi Jean Hall, Rhonda Eichorn, Jennifer Eichorn, David Eichorn; four great grandchildren, Rayne, Mya, Hayden and Tyreed Eichorn; two sisters, Ann (George) Jeske, Esther (Leonard) Klaudt and a sister-in-law, Ruby Brost all of Medicine Hat as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Lena and Ted Mock; his mother-in-law and father-in-law Ed and Martha Walker; a brother-in-law Harlow Brost and a nephew Blake Brost. Family and friends who wish to pay their respects may do so at the PATTISON FUNERAL HOME on Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:55 a.m. The funeral service will be held in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Friday, December 19, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Life Celebrant, David Townsend. .WILLIAM GORZO
1926 ~ 2014
Mr. William Gorzo passed away peacefully at the Riverview Care Centre on Sunday, December 14, 2014, at the age of 88 years. He is survived by his three children, Clifford, Edith and Steven; three siblings, Lena Kish, Edith (Harvey MacDonald), Emil (Irene) Gorzo; two sisters-in-law, Suzanne Gorzo and Gladys Gorzo as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Esther Gorzo; brothers, John, Steve, Kalman, Ben, and Louis; son-in-law, Ray Deering; brother-in-law, Louis Kish; three nieces and one nephew. William was born and raised in Kipling, SK. In 1957, he moved to Medicine Hat, where he resided until his passing. A Celebration of William’s life will be held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 – 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat on Friday, December 19, 2014, at 2:30 p.m. with Reverend Barrett Scheske officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery with a time of fellowship thereafter in the Cook Southland Reception Facility.
