.It was a beautiful sunny morning as family and friends gathered in Cook’s Chapel to celebrate the life of a devoted wife and mother, Maureen DesHarnais. A heartfelt poem from granddaughters, Payton and Crystal was shared for all in attendance… Reverend Scheske spoke of Maureen’s love and devotion for her family and also talked about her dedication to the many community groups and organizations she spent numerous volunteer hours assisting. Accompanied on the piano by Chris, Gerry inspired everyone with his version of “Amazing Grace”. Following a private interment, the sharing of stories continued in the Canteen at the Royal Canadian Legion.
You loved us all dearly,
Just as we loved you,
Always in our thoughts,
And in our hearts too.
Her Life Lived…
Her Life Cherished…
Her Life Honoured.
