Hit and run results in an estimated $120,000 in damages

Police and fire workers attended the scene of a hit and run early Sunday on Taylor Road SE.

A 2006 Chrysler 300 was southbound on the street left the road and struck a cargo trailer that was parked in a driveway. The force of the impact pushed the trailer into the attached garage of a residence, while the car struck a second residence.

The occupants of the vehicle fled on foot. Police continue to investigate and look to identify the occupants.

No one in the houses were injured. Damage is estimated at $120,000.

Police are asking that any witnesses to the collision to contact Const. Brent Bohrn at 403-529-8481.
