Police: Crescent Heights explosion and fire not a criminal matter, victim identified

Medicine Hat Police Service has determined the explosion and fire at a Crescent Heights home are not criminal in nature.

Police add the victim has been positively identified and that no further information will be released.

On Wednesday morning local fire, EMS and police responded to an explosion and three-house fire on Hudson Way N.E. The home in which the explosion occurred was destroyed and the two neighbouring homes suffered significant damage.
