Ian Tyson back at the Esplanade

Ian Tyson is all these things.

The Canadian country icon will share stories and songs at the Esplanade on Nov. 29 at 7:30 p.m.

Tyson has been singing and performing for close to six decades and — when he’s not ranching in the shadows of the Rocky Mountains — continues to put out new material. In 2015 Tyson released his latest album, the critically-acclaimed “Carnero Vaquero,” and in April of this year released the single “You Should Have Known.”

Tyson’s style, authenticity and, of course, his stories and songs, make his performances unforgettable.
