Hats off to the Medicine Hat firefighters who saw some daycare kids on Southview Drive in awe of the big red fire truck and turned the lights on to give the kids a thrill. It’s the little things in life that count and that gesture lit up the eyes of those little kids and maybe this big kid too.
The Tigers were not forced to move to the Canalta Centre. The WHL threatened to move the team if our city didn’t build a new facility. Then to add insult to injury the city was forced to pay for their new dressing rooms.
To the one who thinks we should dye our hair to look young. You can dye yours purple or green but the wrinkles will still be there. Youth and beauty come from within.

Grey hair on older women can look very nice if kept in a proper cut. I am one of those older women and I am very pleased and get many compliments on my natural grey.

With the provincial government for using taxpayers money to support daycare. It is not up to taxpayers to raise other people’s children.

We can finally rename Medicine Hat “The Grass City” instead of the old boring “Gas City.”
What is up with the high gasoline prices? Who is responsible for this? It’s way out of control.
What is with Medicine Hat comments these days? New business is good for Medicine Hat, it creates jobs, brings possible new college courses, brings other businesses in the city. Growth is good.
If motorcyclists could put a decent muffler on their bikes. The rumbling is for the immature.
That the police and bylaw are not yet ticketing all the jaywalkers in this city.
