We volunteers see and hear so much, it’s not always how it should be. When the lazy management show up barking orders it’s really not fun and some of us are close to being done. Turning up in your heels and short skirt and not rolling up your sleeves is not great.
Anyone notice the very large field of solar panels in Brooks? Right on the highway, three- or four-times larger than what the “Sunshine State of Mind” has!
So Spectrum has abandoned downtown again this year! Further proof the city centre needs to fall victim to a wrecking ball. Most is an eyesore anyhow.
During a horrible spring snowstorm people refuse to use their headlights. Running lights do not turn on your brake lights so people should turn on their lights while travelling thru the streets. It just makes it safer for everyone on the road.
Glad to see Facebook is on the decline. I hope all social media goes that way. It’s what happens when you give keyboards to people who are better suited to eating Tide pods.
I saw a policeman with arms covered in tattoos and a beard. He looked more like a biker than a policeman. Go back to long sleeve shirts and no beards.
Proud to see my grandkids at their swim event yesterday at Crestwood Community Pool. Not so pleased with the horrible way the ladies swimming were corralled like cattle and ignored when they asked for consideration to be given to one with mobility issues.
Another exception for the Sikh community. The new helmet law exemption comes into effect April 12. Alberta medical costs could become astronomical as a result in the case of an accident, as well as our insurance premiums skyrocketing. This is discriminatory.
That Tigers season ticket holders get no perks like other Western Hockey League teams. All we get is Fan Appreciation Night. Wow. But don’t forget Build a Sub every other game. Give us some reasons to stay season ticket holders other than just keeping the prices the same.
If you don’t wear a helmet you don’t get to ride. That’s how it should be. That’s how it is for every other Canadian. This is ridiculous.
That the book “Forgiveness” won Canada Reads. It should be read by all Canadians.
