Ticked Off and Tickled Pink Dec. 5

Ticked Off

If fees from the rinks can cover the cost why would the a certain group want a major financial investment from the city for the multiplex they are talking about If it ever is to be built it should be built to standalone and pay for itself without taxpayers having to fund it.

Ticked Off

At the idiots who figure they can sue people who use a commercially available substance on their sidewalks to melt ice. You’ll have to sue the stores who provide it for that purpose and the manufacturer, not the user.

Tickled Pink

That the Toronto Argonauts beat the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the Eastern Final. Now all those annoying Rider fans that live in Alberta, can crawl under a rock and hibernate.

Ticked Off

By a coffee shop parking lot in Crescent Heights. Every single person thinks they have the right of way and they speed up to beat the other people to the entrance. Put a yield sign in like you should have originally.

Tickled Pink

NDP is taking on the dental fee guide finally after years and years of Alberta customers paying 25 per cent more than other provinces. Thankful for a government that finally cares.

Ticked Off

At all those in customer service who give you a blank stare when you say “Thank you” to them. Ever heard of “You’re welcome”?

Ticked Off

With dentists whining about the costs of dental costs, wages, etc. How is it the rest of Canada can survive on less than Alberta does? It’s called greed or entitlement as was the previous government motto.

Ticked Off

Suggesting a fee guide without enforcing pricing restrictions is about as effective in lowering dental costs as crossing your fingers and hoping for the best. Thanks for nothing.

Ticked Off

By off-leash dogs on non off-leash paths. What’s wrong with these ignorant owners and where is bylaw? Never visible on any trails.

Ticked Off

With the News’ front page turned into an ad. An ad is not news. Please don’t do that anymore, it’s totally tacky.

Tickled Pink

Happy to hear WestJet will now be servicing us! I’m surprised the local business investment firm hasn’t taken credit for it yet.

Ticked Off

Rachel Notley suddenly discovered oil and gas. Unquestionably the best source of government revenue for doling out welfare for those convoluted projects in the fight against climate change.

Ticked Off

At people who wear faded and ripped jeans. We used to find it very embarrassing to have to wear jeans that were worn and patched.

Ticked Off

That certain religious groups who go door to door trying to recruit and convert people believe they are welcomed at a business at 8:15 on a Monday morning. Keep your religion at home and your church where it belongs.

Ticked Off

Don’t we all wish we could qualify for the ’60s Scoop.

Ticked Off

Despite the new dental fee guide, you can’t find out costs for services. You can phone around and they say they can’t give you an estimate over the phone, that they have to see you in person. This is ridiculous.

Tickled Pink

It’s less than a month to Christmas and I love seeing volunteers ringing the bells for the Salvation Army. God bless you all.

Ticked Off

That they’ll print the name of a 15-year-old boy who was murdered in Calgary but they won’t print the name of the 16-year-old who killed him.

Ticked Off

With city council. How can they rate bus service by ridership? I don’t ride the bus anymore because they changed my access to bus service a couple of years ago.

Ticked Off

With Bo Levi Mitchell, who talked about starting a dynasty and winning a whole bunch of Grey Cups. I think he just jinxed himself.

Tickled Pink

A lady was in some diabetic distress at the Family Leisure Centre aquasize class and the lifeguards were right there and were able to stabilize her.

Ticked Off

Pretty bad to blame a teammate for dropping a ball. It was a slippery situation. You win as a team and lose as a team.

Ticked Off

Why should I, as a taxpayer, be expected to pay to subsidize your bus ride to work from Crescent Heights to Walmart? Try living within walking distance of where you work or get a job closer to where you live. It’s pretty simple.
