User pay, finally a sound decision by council. Now how about making the transit system user pay.
By hearing complaints of a user tax, as photo radar or alcohol prices are!
If the government and school board spent as much time on academics and the curriculum as they do on the GSAs that we have been hearing about almost daily for years perhaps our students grades would improve instead of being below where they should be.
With the care and compassion provided by the palliative care staff during my fathers recent passing.
That palliative care is closing. The services provided are second to none closing the wing down is a mistake!
When are they going to do anything with Box Springs Boulevard? There hasn’t been lines on that street in years, and then there’s the state of the actual pavement.
With the lack of economic growth in our city; too many open spaces in buildings and the city is way too dependent on gas. Maybe diversity a little bit and think out of box to bring better stuff here or else continue to watch this city turn back into a village rather than a thriving city, it could be.
With the fish and wildlife officers here, and in all districts and provinces. These individuals work tirelessly and quite often without joe public even aware. Understaffed, grossly, and overworked; my hat is off to all of you.
Were I a good parent I would trust that my child would come out with their sexuality on their own terms. If they don’t and you want to prevent that, chances are you’re the opposite.
I made a donation to the Medicine Hat SPCA today. It made my day. More donations of food and money are needed.
To the person ticked off about people impeding traffic, Have you not noticed the limit is 50 km/h not 60-65 so if I am doing the speed limit you back off or find another route to speed on.
To the person who says rich people are the ones riding the buses, what planet are you on? Rich people are all driving cars. Why do you think the buses are losing riders.
At city council for reverting back (conceding during an election) to the old transit system without giving the new routes a reasonable opportunity to be adjusted to meet the rider’s needs. What a waste of money and resources.
At the people who believe that addiction is a “choice” I am a recovering addict and it all started with a car accident and progressed from there. Educate yourself before judging.
If fees from the rinks can cover the cost why would the a group want a major financial investment from the city for the multiplex it is talking about.
Congratulations to Redcliff for the wonderful Remembrance Day celebration.
With Rick Mercer’s rant on his latest show.
If there is a taxpayers’ revolt in this overtaxed city, it’s high time he who pays the piper calls the tune.
At the person saying that when they were kids, they walked everywhere. They said we should be doing that now, but the population is now more than 60,000 people. Try walking from Crescent Heights to Walmart to work.
With the comment that council should have left the new transit system alone. I’m sorry but I’m not standing out in the cold for half an hour waiting for a bus with my two young children.
With the fabulous windows done by the woman who owns the clothing store by ATB downtown.
That Charley, that two-timing blue jay, is eating peanuts at somebody else’s house.
I was an Eskimos fan until I saw that brain-dead call by the head coach. What on earth was he thinking? It will haunt him for the rest of his days. Talk about a huge blunder.
That a neighbour’s little mutt still barks every time he’s outside. I suggest a bark collar. We’re good neighbours but you need to take care of this problem.
