Ticked Off and Tickled Pink Nov. 7

Ticked Off

I think the new GM at the Canalta Centre should take a good look at what is happening at the concessions and get a suggestion box in there asking what could we do for you.

Ticked Off

With those who toss cigarettes out of the car window. With fires all over the place what are you thinking? Anyone seeing this happening should take a picture of the licence plate and report it to police.

Ticked Off

With some of the older members of our service club who whenever something is proposed to raise money or move us forward. They complain, “We have never done that before, etc.”

Ticked Off

It might be a savings to close the Six West unit of our hospital but who is going to be on the receiving end of these savings? Will it be here or elsewhere in the province?

Ticked Off

About the lack of resources beyond gas in this city; no wonder we ranked eighth in trying to attract new business. Ghost town alley here we come.

Ticked Off

That someone has to throw people under the bus every time she works. Seriously, if you don’t like your job, move the hell on.

Tickled Pink

If all profits from legalizing pot would be used to help citizens that resort to crime and selling drugs to support there addiction. Many grow up with it. Others use to escape life’s problems. Jail creates a hardened criminal.

Ticked Off

That such arrogant, privileged ministers like Bill Morneau make critical financial decisions for all Canadians and could never know how loosing your employment, an illness or death or any form of devastation could cause bankruptcy.

Ticked Off

I wish those women who would rather chat than exercise at the aquasize class, would stay to the outside of the pool so that we don’t have to go around you. Some of us are actually there to exercise.

Tickled Pink

Driving on the 41 highway north on the night of Oct. 28, a half-ton truck behind me had his fog lights on but when he got closer he turned them off until he turned off at Schuler. Thank you, you are an extremely polite driver!

Tickled Pink

At the wacky math about the mayors approval rating. So those that didn’t vote automatically do not support the mayor? Grade 1 logic!

Tickled Pink

That city workers took due care in planting trees properly.

Tickled Pink

That they played the baseball game on the big screen at the Canalta Centre rather than the warm-up. Those who wanted to watch the warm-up could simply look at the ice to see the warm-up.

Tickled Pink

I want to say a big thank you to the lady who works in Walmart who saw my bag of potatoes and bag of fruit in my cart in the parking lot and went out and brought them in for me. The cashier had put them in the bottom of my cart and I didn’t see them when I was putting my groceries in my car.
