Ticked Off and Tickled Pink Oct. 3

By Ticked Off - Tickled Pink on October 3, 2017.

Ticked Off

People that yawn when people are talking. That is so passively aggressively rude. If you want to tell someone they are boring just say it.

Ticked Off

When someone loses a friend or family member it is sad but that doesn’t give anyone the right to take there grief out on a another person whether its a patient or co worker.

Ticked Off

If the city sells any of our utilities. We’re lucky to have been spared the ravages of privatization.

Ticked Off

That the UCP candidates all claim we can fight our way into new pipelines. News flash, guys: You attract more flies with honey than vinegar.

Ticked Off

That the detours on South Railway Street are still in place. We all know that there are two seasons in this country: Winter and construction. They should not overlap!

Tickled Pink

To have the cheerleading squad stop by on their bottle drive, parents accompanying the kids and the whole lot of them walking! Not an idling vehicle in sight. Go girls!

Ticked Off

Parents at the Tigers’ hockey games put their small children at risk of hearing loss without proper ear protection to the unnecessary loud music.

Tickled Pink

On upcoming elections we shall remember those who gave our trails to the dogs and allowed for our little wilderness areas to be turned into bike ramps and trails causing most wild life to leave the area.

Ticked Off

If one doesn’t like to work for an ophthalmologist then they ought to resign or retire instead of constantly being rude to the patients. No one is irreplaceable!

Tickled Pink

Protests during the national anthem at professional sports events. Easy solution — cancel all anthems at these events. Most of these players probably don’t know the words.

Tickled Pink

Delighted that the city will fix the mess they made of transit. Will the Esplanade be getting a museum curator again as well?

Tickled Pink

Election time gives us all the opportunity to put the right people in place to represent us on council and for the school boards. Their campaign promises are very important and we should hold them to those. I won’t vote for anyone that’s not loyal in their private life.

Ticked Off

My house is continuously getting robbed and have had no luck in finding the person who is doing it, and the police have been no help.

Ticked Off

About two things: The library should get more than one copy of the Calgary Sun and one guy comes in and spends three hours reading it.

Tickled Pink

I sincerely hope the councillors have read the News editorial about the Veiner Centre lengthy rebuilding and poor planning is probably the hopeless forerunner for the now necessary transit changes.

Ticked Off

That known murderers are released before revealing the location of their victims’ bodies. Throw away the key until they reveal. MPs and MLAs should take this to government.

Ticked Off

About the weeds and garbage behind some of the houses in Parkview.

Ticked Off

Why do some people not sweep the clippings off the sidewalk after they mow their lawn?

Tickled Pink

About the young lady who paid for my groceries. Bless you.

Ticked Off

With the woman who complained about people saying she always looked tired. She should go see a doctor. That happened to me and I had a stroke. Please, go get looked at.

Ticked Off

Let’s get rid of all the crosswalks because pedestrians always have the right of way, right? Wherever they decide to cross the street, that’s apparently legal.

Ticked Off

Our mayor is taking care of the well-to-do with this transit issue.

Ticked Off

I think we should keep the Arena for the homeless because there are a lot of them in this city, whether the mayor wants to believe it or not.

Ticked Off

That one city councillor doesn’t want the transit terminal back? How about the thousands of actual bus riders who do and love the downtown terminal.

Ticked Off

Who would be low enough to steal a senior’s wheelchair? If found, please drop it off at the police station.

Tickled Pink

To see all the advertising for the upcoming city elections but who is this Cripz 306 candidate?

Presumably you are talking about Redcliff, as there are only 6 people running for 6 council seats I guess they are all going to get in my acclimation. The only fight will be between Ernie Reimer and Kilpatrick.

Until idiot drivers stop stopping in the middle of the street to let these idiot jay-walkers cross then it will continue to happen.
