Ticked Off and Tickled Pink Sept. 26

By Ticked Off - Tickled Pink on September 26, 2017.

Tickled Pink

Any carbon tax money collected by the federal government comes back to Alberta. Sorry UPC, the carbon tax isn’t going to go away.

Tickled Pink

I love the flower arrangements in the concrete flower pots outside of city hall and at the Esplanade. The plants were very well chosen. They are beautiful.

Ticked Off

Not only has the government ruined people’s lives by running the province into the ground it’s also ruined entire families with the suicide rate sky rocketing So sad.

Ticked Off

I do not appreciate it when people tell me I look tired. Please find a less hurtful way to indicate that you care.

Ticked Off

When will city council reveal what percentage the Tigers paid towards the Canalta Centre project and identify the current operational costs borne by the residents of the city? Funny no incumbents are running on a transparency platform. Are they just in it for the money.

Ticked Off

Tired of seeing Medicine Hat Pride on first page of the newspaper. Who cares? Straight people don’t celebrate their sexuality as far as I know!

Tickled Pink

That the utterly stupid transit changes have been reversed!

Tickled Pink

That council looks so bad for reversing the transit issue! Maybe some of the famous nine should have reviewed the effects and efficiencies of the new system before it’s implementation. Shame on all of you!

Ticked Off

A $23,000,000 city deficit, a $100,000 for a consultant to “fix” transit plus time and money spent to make those changes. All of which was taxpayer monies. Anyone else ticked off by this math?

Ticked Off

That city council caved to a small vocal minority and reversed the transit changes and then hung the administration out to dry for doing what council had asked them to do. Shame, shame.

Ticked Off

Why is it that nobody has any empathy for others less fortunate than they are. They are very fortunate to be able to walk for 20 minutes but there are a lot of people who are unable to walk at all or are unable to walk very far.

Tickled Pink

That we will keep changing our clocks.

Ticked Off

It took two weeks to make the transit changes. Why does it take two to three months to correct your mistakes?

Ticked Off

What gives council the right to go for transportation grants from higher governments, and then when they need the money for something else, they just take that money.

Tickled Pink

With the editorial writer who said shame on Canadians who expect our government to rescue people from their holidays.

Ticked Off

Motorist ticketed for hitting a cyclist in a pedestrian crosswalk. Cyclists are not pedestrians. This sends the wrong message for a big problem in Medicine Hat.

Tickled Pink

Thanks to the lady who handed in my black leather purse at a grocery store. I was trying to find you to thank you. There truly are kind people in Medicine Hat.

Ticked Off

The city is cash strapped. Now they’re gambling millions of dollars to find helium that they may never find.

Ticked Off

I was under the impression that the military was there to protect us, not to burn our houses down.

Ticked Off

About drivers who don’t put their headlights on in the morning.

Ticked Off

What will happen to our health-care system with the opioid crisis. that’s become all important now and that’s where the resources will go and the rest of us will pay the price if we need help.

Ticked Off

While paying for my diabetic supplies, I look at a sign offering free overdose kits for addicts. Where’s the justice in that?

Ticked Off

A triple murderer tried, proven guilty, convicted and sentenced, now has the right to appeal because someone forgot to cross a ‘T’ or dot an ‘I’? This is a lawyer’s heaven.

Tickled Pink

Finally, the government is closing loopholes for those paying only 16 per cent tax. Let’s also include consultants, who have a limited company and run around with a truck and a computer and they pay only 16 per cent tax, too. Ridiculous.

Ticked Off

I went to the Pride festival and didn’t see one lion.
