Ticked Off and Tickled Pink Aug. 31

By Ticked Off - Tickled Pink on August 31, 2017.

Tickled Pink

That a former city alderman continues to flap his gums and look foolish on issues he has no clue about.

Ticked Off

The city received money to upgrade the transit system, not to downgrade it. This city needs smaller buses for the feeder routes to service outlying areas.

Ticked Off

Someone is pleased about trees butchered on our trails. They say they’re wild trees and will grow back six feet fast. They are not bamboo trees! They are elm, ash, maple, Russian olive, etc. and not watered except by rain. They were far from being overgrown and will take many years to grow back. If this is done regularly we will have no shaded trails.

Ticked Off

With people saying we need refineries. It would be nice, yes but … countries don’t want it that way because it costs too much to ship it then. Cheaper for them for us to send dirty.

Ticked Off

At conservative politicians who talk down to us and the voters who eat it up. Government budgets do not work the same way household budgets do. Stop pretending they are the same.

Tickled Pink

If a realtor/lawyer could explain to society how his fees/commission are fixed cause he does the same amount of work whether the property is worth $100,000 or a million.

Tickled Pink

With friendly people who let us pet their dogs. We lost ours recently and can’t get another one. Animals are healers.

Ticked Off

At people paid to piggy back off of their fellow workers and only do the bare necessities. If they don’t love their job and don’t have the work ethic to earn their cheque, then please leave.

Ticked Off

A couple in a white car drove by my house giving me and my family the finger and for what reason I have no idea except that they must have something wrong in their head or just very immature.

Ticked Off

Why on earth would the biggest indoor pool in Medicine Hat do yearly maintenance on the pool during the busiest time of the year when people are trying to escape the summer heat? It’s still summer holidays for the kids. Can’t they do this in the winter months?

Ticked Off

That some people buy massive vehicles and can’t park them.

Ticked Off

Forget about putting microchips in government charge cards as suggested in a recent letter to the editor. Put the microchips in the politicians. And put shock collars on them tied to an app so that the public can zap them when their conduct is unfavourable.

Ticked Off

That a local paving crew was working recently on Valleyview Drive and not one of the workers was wearing a hard hat.

Ticked Off

That people complain about dogs while walking on off-leash paths. Medicine Hat is full of both off leash and leashed paths. So if you don’t like dogs, don’t walk on off leash paths.

Ticked Off

I am ticked off because a big box liquor store advertises alcohol on sale in our local paper and puts the same price on it and says it is the sale price.

Ticked Off

The mayor and council stated the private company running the Canalta Centre would bring in lots of big name acts. Where are they two years in?

Ticked Off

Why did we hire an out-of- town group to install road lines that look horrible when we can have the city do the work like they care?

Ticked Off

Certain college needs to start house cleaning with the top of the food chain.

Ticked Off

At people who drown piles of water on their lush lawns. But it is good to know you have money to blow on your water bill.

Ticked Off

If our prime minister could keep his mouth shut and stop encouraging illegal border crossings into Canada. We are all paying dearly for his attention grabbing beliefs.

Ticked Off

With the previous government. Thank you for Duffy suing the Senate for $8 million.

Tickled Pink

With the presentation by the neurologist from Calgary and with the accurate reporting of the event as well.
