If we adopted the same new immigration system that the U.S. is implementing.
With people’s opinions on how government spends. Maybe your anger should be at the groups that keep wanting money? Tweet/FB/email them.
I honestly can’t believe there is someone out there who thinks if you commit a crime you should keep your rights. If you commit a crime you should have no rights at all because you gave them up when you did something wrong.
To the person upset about photo radar in a school zone in July: It is also classed as a playground zone; they are within the law, cash cow or not.
Hearing this “bring the Alberta Advantage” back. I want a government that doesn’t feel they own this province.
That voters think the biggest spender for campaigning is our saviour. We need a party that is helping all Albertans, not just energy.
The Medicine Hat Mall addition looks beautiful but all the complaints are not! I know this city does not embrace change but seriously, change is good. Way to go MHM, looks fantastic!
By the racket and stink my neighbour insists on making by idling his truck for 20 minutes every day starting at 4:35 a.m. Unless he has to drive to work stark naked, this is a pointless, wasteful and foul habit — and irritating.
With the party jumper or shall we call him floor crosser or back stabber? Nothing in the new name says Wildrose. Boy, did they get fleeced!
That although Redcliff is classed as a bedroom community, people still think it acceptable to do house renovations at midnight and cut their lawn at 10:30 p.m. Quiet time is 9 p.m. to 7 a.m., so outside of these hours they are breaking the noise bylaw.
Hats off to the Hillside Cemetery staff. The addition of the new huge flower pots and other flower beds look very beautiful and well maintained. Good job!
Happy to hear that dogs are free to roam coulees and do their business anywhere, as long as their owners pay property taxes and dog licence fees. Similarly, I pay property tax and licence fees for my truck, so Iguess I can drive anywhere and dump my oil where I please. Good to know!
With people saying there is no industry in town. What left that hasn’t come back? Many left/downsized in Calgary, the energy capital of Alberta.
With the service at the new home medical equipment supply store.
At the jump in gas prices. Who decides this? We drivers need to boycott stations on a rotating schedule and teach the money grubbers a lesson we won’t be taken for granted.
This is Canada’s lowest unemployment rate at 6.8 per cent since 2008. Nice.
So Drew Barnes is all willing to support Jason Kenney. Is Mr. Barnes going to step down so Kenney can run in a byelection and actually be an elected MLA if he wins?
At those who selfishly destroy all our green spaces for their endless cycling needs. Get a life, think about tomorrow and leave something for the next generation.
At the parks department for butchering the trees and brush on our walking trails. It’s fine to cut the odd overhanging branch but what they did will take years to regrow. What a shame.
Last time I voted Wildrose. This time my vote goes to the Alberta Party.
At the non-thinking smokers who throw their butts along the trails edge. Do you not know how dry it has been? You should know better than to even consider smoking on the trails. How selfish.
That I am a realist when it comes to the outlook of the local economy!
With the city! Many complaints have been made in regards to the city trees. Many incidents with tree branches breaking off, narrowly missing people walking on the sidewalks. City, please take care of your property.
That an area restaurant has fired some of its best staff and not treated them fairly after many years of service. You know it is going to bite you in the butt. Losing customers from this behaviour.
