I pay property taxes and I pay for my dog’s licence. As far as I’m concerned he’s free to roam all coulees off leash and relieve himself wherever he desires. I could understand people complaining if it was free to own a dog!
With the NDP. Since they’ve been in power, they’ve done more to diversify than the PCs did in 40 years.
If the PCs/Wildrose get back into power because the cuts will start except for their rich friends.
That the PC and WRP, who until recently hated each other, have now merged. The infighting should be very entertaining to watch!
Mr. Barnes should hang his head in shame. I voted for a Wildrose. He is a traitor.
Amazing unity votes! Not just identical 95 per cent approvals but levels matching re-elections of the Dictator for Life of North Korea.
At pickup truck drivers in parking lots who are not bright enough to realize they are taking up two stalls.
Kudos to the City Parks Department. The flower beds throughout the city are stunning, especially Rotary Park, Dunmore Road and the library. Great job.
The whole point about this house tax is not the deadline everyone seems to be talking about … it’s the person who did the assessment. That is the problem. If not fixed we will all want to get it checked next year.,
With whoever thought of the dumb idea to make the Sharland home a heritage site. It’s just another dilapidated building on the lower Flats. There were other grocery stores throughout the Flats that were equally as important and no less worth saving. Tear it down and use the land for something more appropriate.
When there are children dying because they have a rare disease that costs outrageous amounts to treat and the government won’t pay for it but that same government is going to pay the cost of abortion pills in spite of the fact there are myriad ways to prevent pregnancy in the first place. Misplaced priorities.
That a local business allows an animal enclosure to be unkempt.
About this whole group of concerned parents in SD76 group. What you are doing is teaching your children hate.
With our strong, hard-working, and effective Mayor Ted Clugston!
That this council doesn’t realize they are there to represent the taxpayers and citizens and not the mayor and his every pipe dream.
I wish to thank the Medicine Hat Fire Department for taking the time to go door to door in Hudson Way N.E. to provide information about fires and answer any questions we had about the explosion. Way to go Fire Department.
Kudos to our Parks Department workers for keeping our public washrooms so clean during the busy summer season! Their hard work does not go unappreciated.
Why can’t people use their signal lights in this town?
At everything! People texting and using cellphones, noisy cars and neighbours, bullies, drivers who don’t know how to drive properly, customers who yell at the people that are serving them in stores. The list goes on and on.
That people want to get rid of photo radar. This is a user fee. So if we get rid of that where will this money come from for the services it covers now? No brainer here; out of all of our pockets. So leave it alone and let the select few keep paying for these services that we need.
With this recession which has opened many eyes of people that were overstretched with debt. Be prepared for the unknown.
That Canada, which has only a few coal-fired power plants, plans on shutting some while other countries are building new ones. Fossil fuel we need. Wind power and solar have their side effects as well.
Just saw the parade, which was great, but why do people have to bring their dogs down to watch the parade or put them in the parade when the temperatures are so high. Those pets would be so much happier at home where it’s cool.
To see the municipal elections coming closer. Looking for those councillors who are committed to actual cost cutting!
