Ticked Off

That council/mayor figure it’s OK to add to our utility bills for recycling but not OK for another carbon tax on our bills? This is not the time for extra fees. People who want to recycle will recycle.

Ticked Off

At a local golf course executive who are there to set up their buddy. Keep it up and watch the members run.

Tickled Pink

That the loony left like Peter Mueller are so totally insane about the Trump win that they can’t stop whining about it.

Tickled Pink

With our local newspaper that always puts our local athletes on the first page of the sports and leaves the over-priced others for the back pages.

Ticked Off

With teachers who only work 199 days or less a year. Less then four days per week! No wonder my kids have to do two hours of homework every night. Maybe fewer holidays and more teaching for the money we pay you.

Ticked Off

Economic Development Lethbridge is probably sending a thank-you card to Medicine Hat Economic Development people for sending all those businesses their way! Keep up the good work folks. The people of Lethbridge love it.

Tickled Pink

So happy to be able to fly to Edmonton from Medicine Hat. A two-hour flight and the service is wonderful.

Tickled Pink

That someone rescued my purse from a big box store parking lot and returned it to to merchandise counter.

Ticked Off

All you NDP voters got what you wanted. Look at all the vacant shops around town. You’ll see a lot more, thanks to the carbon tax, which is just a sales tax.

Ticked Off

With the person who stole the newspapers delivered so kindly by the News to my apartment building.

Ticked Off

Premier Notley won’t care about the carbon tax, because she rides a limo to work every day, and we all pay for the gas.

Ticked Off

A note to city council: You could have sold the energy division for a billion dollars. A big no! Now you sell a large part of it so cheap you’re ashamed to tell the taxpayers you had to give it away.

Tickled Pink

With the private lab and all it did for me. Now I know with AHS how poor the service is.

Ticked Off

I’m working in Fort McMurray now and I see city vehicles there that are 20 years old. I’m told employees have never been allowed city vehicles on weekends for personal use. What a difference from Medicine Hat.

Ticked Off

We’re the only city in Alberta that does not have same-day trash all year. Also the only city in Alberta that doesn’t have a recycling bin. This city tries to be different, but we’re actually going backward.

Tickled Pink

The displays of Christmas lights this year were fantastic. So much enjoyment to be shared. Such Christmas spirit with time and effort.

Tickled Pink

About the kind person who paid for our men’s group lunch at on Jan. 3 near the mall. We were quite a large group. Your kindness will be passed onto others for sure. Thank you very much.

Tickled Pink

At whoever chooses the music when the opposition scores during Tiger games. A goal against is never fun, but playing “Why You Gotta Be So Rude,” “Shake It Off,” and “Let it Go” lightens at least my mood.

Tickled Pink

Excellent guest column about the time change.

Tickled Pink

A huge thank-you to the kind souls who personally delivered a shirt that I ordered online. It was sent to the wrong address and was sitting in their mailbox while they were on holidays. You two are awesome.

Ticked Off

The light at Ross Glen Drive and Ross Haven Avenue has to be the slowest light in the city.

Tickled Pink

If everyone in the city e-mailed the mayor and demanded he keep his word not to run again if there was no development on the First Street property. We simply can’t afford another term with him at the helm.

Tickled Pink

It was nice to see a lady with a rake knocking the mountain ash berries off the high branches for the deer to eat. I wish I had such a tree.
