With businesses complaining that with the carbon tax prices are going to go up. Why then would you raise your prices month(s) in advance because we all know you did not pay the higher price for that item yet. Fine example is gas rising 17 days early.
So someone uses a snow blower at 8 in the morning. The law states no noise from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. Do you complain about that?
Premier Notley’s advice to ride the bus or to walk to avoid her carbon tax is really good advice for her and the other MLAs. They all have enough time to walk, to use the bicycle and to ride the bus for their transportation.
What is the true and real purpose of the carbon levy tax? If it is really to reduce the carbon footprint in Alberta then there should not be a rebate to anyone. How are those people going to reduce their carbon footprint if they know they are just going to get their money back?
I wish people were as passionate about the increased gas prices as they are about the upcoming carbon tax. The producers can increase the gas by 12 cents per litre and nobody even flinches.

With inaccurate car estimates on gas fuel-ups with carbon tax added on. If a person fuels up 26 times a year it’s around $100.
That we would even consider building more expensive, ugly, inefficient, wildlife killing wind farms. Have we learned nothing from the experience of Europe, Australia and Ontario and others?
Too bad too many people voted Liberal. Police have enough problems with drugs and alcohol, now grass.
