Mind, body and spirit for positive mental health

Seeing Clara Hughes and Howie Mandel finally approaching the subject of mental illness, and on such a large scale recently, was monumental for me.

When I “came out of the fog” in 2015, I wanted to spearhead. I didn’t have the confidence, nor could I string eight hours together without having to have a rest, some fresh air, nutritious food every once in a while.

I learned that this is the way we all should live. No matter who you are or where you are in life get back to the basics. Now I incorporate swimming 5-8 times a week.

With my mental health disease I have to refocus my bad addictions to healthy addictions, incorporating body, mind and spirit. Every single day.
